Telford Balloon Fiesta
We are bringing a full weekend of hands-on science and family fun to Telford Balloon Fiesta.
Friday:
Catch Jon the Crazy Science Guy and Rich our “Enginerd” live on the main stage with an exciting interactive science show. After the show, head over to our interactive demonstration area to get hands-on and explore even more.
Saturday & Sunday:
Join us in the Kids Zone for a packed programme of activities. Enjoy our giant games and tabletop games arcade, meet Jon as he delivers strolling science, and take part in our LEGO build challenge. You can also unwind in our Sensory Sanctuary, a calm and comfortable space to relax and recharge.
Come along for a weekend of discovery, play, and plenty of science-filled fun.
Attingham Park - Pokémon TCG Training
Working with our partner, Boardroom Gaming Cafe presents Pokémon Fun Zone!
Join us at Attingham Park, National Trust, for a day packed with Pokémon-themed fun for trainers of all ages!
Whether you're completely new to the Pokémon Trading Card Game or looking to learn the basics, our friendly team will be on hand to teach you how to play in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Take part in our exclusive in-house created Pokémon games, including Poke-a-nut Shy and Energy Blast card game, then get creative by entering our Design a Pokémon Competition. You can also try your luck with our Pick-a-Stick chance game, where everyone has the opportunity to win.
There'll also be plenty of Pokémon freebies to collect, kindly provided by Boardroom Gaming Cafe and Asmodee UK, making this the perfect stop for Pokémon fans and curious newcomers alike.

High street family fun
Dancing grannies, face painters, bouncy castles, mascots and chalk artists will all be part of the events on Saturday 8 August and Saturday 15 August.
The celebrations have been organised by Telford & Wrekin Council’s Pride in Our High Street programme, sponsored by Morris Property and supported by Oakengates Town Council and follow a successful Oakengates event in May.
These events are being delivered to increase footfall to Oakengates, support local traders and encourage community use of the town centre.
On each day, entertainers will encourage visitors into shops and retailers will have the opportunity to promote their range of special offers to entice people in.

Bubble Academy
Get ready for a brilliant bubble-filled experience at Bowring Park.
Jon the Crazy Science Guy will be hosting a lively, interactive Bubble Science Show, following the life of a bubble from the moment it is formed to the instant it pops. Along the way, discover the science behind shapes, surfaces, and why bubbles behave the way they do.
To finish, we will fill the space with as many bubbles as possible, giving everyone the chance to jump in, chase them, and enjoy the spectacle.

Science Show - Anstice Madeley
Join Jon, The Crazy Science Guy, from Elementary Entertainment, for a fun-filled, interactive science show that's guaranteed to entertain and amaze!
Packed with some of our favourite science demonstrations, this exciting show is full of surprises, laughter and hands-on fun. Audience volunteers will be invited to take part in a variety of exciting experiments, making every performance unique.
Expect incredible demonstrations featuring juggling, floating, fire, fog and much more. With plenty of audience participation throughout, this energetic show is designed to inspire curiosity while making science exciting, engaging and accessible for everyone.
After the show, stay and meet Jon, The Crazy Science Guy, for a relaxed question and answer session. This is a great opportunity to ask about the science behind the demonstrations, discover more fun facts and enjoy a few exclusive mini demonstrations up close.
Suitable for children aged 6 and over.
Running time: Approximately 45–60 minutes, followed by a post-show meet and Q&A.
Krazy Races
Krazy Karts hits Telford Town Park for the first time, bringing full-throttle soapbox derby action. Expect speed, competition, and the occasional spectacular crash as racers take on the course.
Get involved by designing, building, and testing your own Downhill Dragsters. Put your creation through its paces and see if it can survive the ride. Our team of Engineering and Science communicators will be on hand to break down the whats, hows, and whys behind your build.
Jump in, get hands-on, and see if your dragster has what it takes.

Elementary Entertainment will be at Cosford Air Show 2026 with a whole host of activities and shows.
Spring into ST George's
