Meet The Team
What activity instantly brings out your competitive side?
“Juggling”
The go-to guy for all things science, Jon started his journey as a teenager volunteering at museums. Since then he’s been delivering events that inspire young and old, from small classroom projects to giant stage demonstrations in front of thousands of people. If he’s not entertaining the masses, you’ll find him joyfully strolling around events setting fire to the general public (safely, of course).
What is the most chaotic thing you have ever created?
“A pneumatic T-Rex”
A woman who is no stranger to the stage, Lyndsey “Birdy” is a true jack of all trades with years of experience in musicals, museums and marine biology. Never afraid to get stuck in, Lyndsey is just as at home setting fires on stage as she is putting them out behind the scenes. You may find her demonstrating on stage, or running heritage walks around the midlands.
What is your most niche area of knowledge?
“Genealogy”
The mother goose of this chaotic gaggle, Jenni is usually found in the background wrangling the rest of the team in the right direction. Equal parts planner, problem-solver and professional cat herder, she thrives in the mayhem of live events, turning any problem found into a problem solved to keep things running.
What is one thing you always carry to an event?
“My pocket shark”
The man behind the scenes, spanner in hand. Having worked in engineering for over a decade, our in house enginerd is ready to fix, fudge and fumble any challenge set before him. Occasionally gracing the stage, he is usually found tinkering in the background or running wild at events.
